Using Endnote's "Find full text" feature

Answer

Endnote's "Find full text" feature can be a helpful way of locating the PDFs of references in your Endnote library. To use it, simply highlight the relevant references in your library, go to the "References" menu, and choose "Find Full Text".

This feature will not find everything; however, you can improve its retrieval rate by applying the following settings:

1. In your Endnote library, choose "Edit", and then "Preferences".

2. In the ensuing pop-up, click on the "Find Full Text" tab.

3. In the "OpenURL Path", input https://libkey.io/libraries/394/openurl

4. Leave the "Authenticate with" URL blank.

5. Click "Apply", and exit the screen.
