What can I do if somebody is using the AccessAbility room I booked?

Only students supported through either the Wellbeing Accessibility Pathway or Mental Health Pathway can book the AccessAbility rooms located in libraries. No other students are able to book these study rooms and should not use them. For more information, please visit our Bookable Rooms page. Note that bookings are administered by our colleagues in the Wellbeing AccessAbility Pathway and not by Library staff, although Library staff can check bookings already made.

Answer

If you find that somebody else is using the AccessAbility room you have booked, you can:

  • Check that you and the other person are using the correct study room
  • Check that you and the other person have the correct booking (i.e. the right date and time)
  • Check that the person currently using the room is actually entitled to do so

If you do not feel comfortable engaging with the person currently using the AccessAbility room, please come and speak to Library staff or get in touch with us remotely as we will be able to support you and resolve the problem.
