Why does the text suddenly disappear when I am reading through a Kortext book?
This is a known issue that occurs within EPUB files within the Kortext reader. Entire pages will seem to load indefinitely and the full text pane will become blank. Alternatively, the full text will suddenly stop and if you try to read further, you may be sent back to the beginning of the chapter or section.
Answer
This issue is caused by the presence of large images either within the full text or covering a whole page, such as cover images. This issue can always be resolved by changing the Scroll mode in the Display options menu within the e-textbook from Scroll to Pages:
